Victoria University Angelo South Pacific Postgraduate Educational Scholarships in Law, 2018

Victoria University is offering Postgraduate Educational Scholarships to a Law graduate who plans to undertake or is currently undertaking a Master’s degree either by thesis or by course work or a Postgraduate Diploma.
Victoria University is a university based in Victoria, Australia. It is a dual-sector tertiary institution providing courses in both higher education and Technical and Further Education.

Eligibility: 
  • The Scholarship is tenable to a Law graduate from the Pacific Islands with a first class academic record, who plans to undertake, or is currently undertaking, a Master’s degree at the Victoria University Law Faculty, either by thesis or by course work, or a Postgraduate Diploma. The applicant should be planning on a legal career in academic service, or in government or community service. Priority will be given to a student living in the Pacific Islands but Pacific students resident in New Zealand may also be considered.
  • The Scholarship may also be awarded to a third or fourth year student of the Victoria University Law Faculty who wishes to enrol for a trimester at the Law Faculty of the University of the South Pacific. This award may be made in the same year as the award above.
Nationality: Priority will be given to a student living in the Pacific Islands but Pacific students resident in New Zealand may also be considered.

Funded Scholarship Position for Master of Science in Chemistry at University of Malta, 2017

Eligibility: The Course shall be open to applicants in possession of one of the following qualifications:

(b) The Bachelor of Science with Third Class Honours in an area of study deemed by the Board to be relevant to the proposed area of study and obtained in the 10 years previous to registration for the Course, provided that the applicants have obtained other qualifications, including relevant experience, following their first cycle degree. The Board may, at its discretion, require such applicants to follow a preparatory program as specified in bye-law 5.
  • The Board, at its discretion, may also recommend the admission of applicants in possession of a Bachelor of Science with at least Category II in an area of study deemed by the Board to be relevant to the proposed area of study and obtained in the 10 years previous to registration for the Course, provided that the admission of such applicants shall be made conditional on the result of an interview and in such cases they shall be required to follow a preparatory programme as specified in bye-law 5.
  • The Board, at its discretion, may also recommend the admission of applicants with a first cycle degree deemed by the Board to be relevant to the proposed area of study and obtained in the 10 years previous to registration for the Course, provided that the admission of such applicants may be conditional on the result of an interview and in such cases they may be required to follow a preparatory programme as specified in bye-law 5.
  • Applicants whose first degree was obtained more than 10 years previous to registration for the Course may also be admitted following an interview to ascertain their capability to follow the Course. The Board may, at its discretion, require such applicants to follow a preparatory program as specified in bye-law 5.
Nationality: Students from Malta as well as from outside the Malta are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applicants from outside Malta are required to contact the International Admissions Office to check the necessary requirements.
